Bedroom Disney Character
My cousins' bedroom
Was splashing new colours on the wall
and somehow I managed
to make use of the colours that we had
and paint these cute disney characters
This was in 2008

Without memory Time dont exist
1."...the present is undefined, that the future has no other
reality than as present hope, that past is no more than present memory..."
-Curent memory consists of what has passed ,
Future memory consists of the indefinite present
-Time has always been constant..
It is Memory that is able to leap back and forth limitlessly.
2."I cannot walk through the suburbs in the solitude of the night without thinking that the night pleases us because it suppresses(puts an end to) idle details, just as our memory does."
-If Night is responsible for putting an end to suburban idleism throughout the day..
then knowing the relation of Time and memory from the previous phrase...
-thus, I feel that Memory has contributed in giving life to Time

I never truly understand how people who appreciate art could shed a tear over an artpiece
Until i felt myself that very attachment To a particular masterpiece
A classmate of mine did
And yes I nearly cried, ragingly bombarding words
after knowing the artpiece was going
to be restructured
I was fuming the fact the artpiece
was being condemned
when the actual fact is
I found perfection in them
I had to voice out and when I did
I was trembling
My heart beats so fast
tears felt pressured to surface
Surprised as they were with my response
Everyone fell in love with the artwork
After hearing my plights
I swear I could hear the art piece crying for help
And the pain i felt was like
seeing a child waiting to be slaughter
Now I know why one could cry
for the sake of art
anyway
here's a glimpse
of my current works

My first few dishes looks like acrylic paint
Well,just so u dunno

I suppose i was too comfortable with

Well,just so u dunno

I suppose i was too comfortable with
acrylic paint

So this are the results
After stepping out of my comfort zone
I started with the background
Slowly building the picture
Not good enough?
Its okay
afterall i painted with my left foot
dont believe me?
well u better do.
And of allI think this is my best
As mention by my frens
'look so china'

First touch on oil paint

Having the materials ready for painting
I just could not wait
And finally the day came
the touch of the new brush
the strong smell of turpentine
squeezing colours onto my pallet
my heart racing with excitement
my first time with oil paint
It was harder compared to acrylic
but the result is magnificent
[pardon me for the imperfection, its my first try]

Life drawing
while u draw them takes full concentration.
checking out of negative space
measuring the distance betweena feature to another.
As Luis say,I tend to draw BIG head.
At times,we start drawing from the head
and didnt even bother to check if we have space for the whole body.
We tend to take the luxury of an eraser for granted.
Thus erasing like there's 9293823913 erasers waiting in spare.[really]
I understand the reason y Luis ask us to avoid too much erasing
cos if keep erasing,we are bound
to repeat the mistake over again!
Therefore, there's a large room of improvement
waiting for me in Life Drawing.
till then~

God answered my 'phonecalls'
I remembered those times
when I had to blog at school
how it kylls to wait for the pictures to load
and when it dun
i had to run along for work
The number of trips to tampines
with heavy half-opened eyes
to borrow my fren's cam
To take pictures of my artwork
time constraint I had to face
deadlines i didnt get to meet
the stress that piled up
testing my every patience
I struggled thru
and here i am
at the comfort of my home
doing my work
And with a new cam
my bro got in a lucky draw
I feel like an angel is watching me
With attention and support
from my beloved parents
thanking God
for answering my
'phonecalls'

Illustrator:Seeing nature thru digital eyes
I shall start with this.
Like all my other classmates,
i too have 24 hours
to work,sleep,school,projects etc.
my daily schedule:-
9 to 4(school)5 to 10(work)
I'll reach home at 11.
And thats when I either sleep or do my assignments.
A basic view of my life yet there's so much
sound so simple yet so complicated
sound so simple yet so complicated
Im not complaining here
I dun need any sympathy
Just some understanding for me to feed on
Im strong in the inside(I know)
I push my evry living cells everyday
Be it surviving everyday's emotional pressures
Or carrying those piles of rice
daily dosage of penknife cuts on my fingers
Perhaps some of u know how it
feels to live this way
Perhaps some of u never even
taste hardship
Well to whoever u are reading this
It comes back to the same
Rich or poor
Able or Disabled
Nothing comes easy
Where there is hardwork, there is success
So back to my artpiece
After not sleeping for a night
though barely slept enuf the day before
I did my illustrations
Pardon me.It aint perfect
Did it like im half awake
So thanks for viewing! !

My passion
Art is my passion since youth.
Daily life works as as inspiration for me,
be it relationship,family,work and school.
I like to portray feelings deep within me and
the things that I go through in life.
I discover that I prefer to sketch out realisitic images
compared to doing abstract art.
I find the joy in just holding a pencil and crafting
beautiful images out of the its led.
My current interest is edging towards
native and ethnic art.
I recently studied the Malay craftmanship-
its nature of using particular elements
from nature itself like flowers
leaves, trees and how they put these elements into their
work for example, carving of furnitures etc.
I am looking forward to upholding these unique style,
in a way i can develop them to
blend into this modern arena.
I am proud of my own culture,
and not forgetting other cultures too.
I believe the past is full of originallities.
